Working in Acrylics
Tumeric feels like earth to me. Rust feels like it is part of the layers of aging. I paint indoors and outdoors. I am obsessed, scared, joyful, insecure and proud, but mostly, I love the process. It is just paint and canvas. A painting evolves for me. I rarely set out with an "idea". Like life, sometimes these are bold and complicated at the same time. Doubt and certainty collide as I recite my Mantra. "There are no mistakes, there is just the present, just now". I use squeegees, sponges, brushes, and rags, all the time saying, "what if?" …. The answers are in the paintings themselves.
"Fragments of Light"
A series that explores the delicate interplay between texture, memory, and transformation. Each piece is layered with translucent washes, subtle marks, and shifting hues, creating a visual language that reflects the ephemeral nature of light and emotion.

"Zen Balance"
"Zen Balance" is a visual meditation on the delicate harmony between form, space, and color. Rooted in simplicity yet layered with complexity, each piece invites the viewer to pause, reflect, and find stillness within the dynamic tension of the compositions. The bold use of red-orange accents against muted, textured backgrounds evokes both energy and tranquility—a balance between opposites.
